This will be a special evening as we celebrate the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through a candelight service of “Lessons & Carols,” Holy Communion, and special music from the St. Mark’s Choir.

The goodies are all homemade by the excellent bakers of St. Mark’s! All varieites will be available, so come out to get ready for your Holiday parties!

Join us for a free and special event with your feathered or furry friends! We are hosting a Blessing of the Animals service and fellowship time outside on the lawn on September 21 at 6:30 pm. All are welcome. Please make sure that all pets are on a leash or in a carrying case. Water and treats will be provided. If your pet doesn’t do well with others, we would invite you to leave them at home, but bring a photo! Bring a photo of any treasured pets who have passed on, as well. What a lovely way to honor their memory! Stuffed animals are invited, too! Bring a blanket and a lawn chair for this unique and fun event.

He is Risen! Celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ with St. Mark’s UMC on Easter Sunday! Worship begins at 10 am. You will enjoy traditional music from our choir, contemporary selections from our Praise Team, a children’s sermon, a message from our Pastor John Gregory, and congregational singing of your favorite Easter hymns!

Join the Sunrise Singers for their annual Tenebrae Cantata on Maundy Thursday. This moving worship service in song incorporates communion and gradually diminishing light to symbolize the events of Holy week, from the triumphant Palm Sunday entry through Jesus' death and burial. Worshipers will leave in silence to ponder the impact of Christ's death and await the coming Resurrection.

Hosanna in the Highest! Join us at St. Mark’s UMC for Palm Sunday worship at 10:00 am. The Sunday immediately preceding Easter Sunday, Palm Sunday commemorates the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and begins the series of observances focusing on the events of Holy Week. This Sunday is also often referred to as Passion Sunday, marking the beginning of the passion or suffering of Jesus leading to and including the crucifixion.

Come join St. Marks’s KidMin in celebrating Jesus! The event will include an egg hunt, an Easter themed craft, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. As well as an Easter experience that will help kids relive Jesus’ last days on earth. Join in the celebration! Hope to see you there!
